Before you book

The questions people ask first

Is it legally binding?

We draft and complete a proper written agreement, and both of you are encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before signing. That advice is part of what helps it hold up.

Do we both need a lawyer?

We act for one of you, and we are happy to provide independent legal advice for that one party. The other party should obtain independent legal advice from another family law professional before signing, so you are both protected.

How long does it take?

Most matters move at the pace you set. After your $179 consultation you get a fixed-fee quote and a realistic timeline for your separation agreement in writing.

Are you a law firm?

Peace Family Agreements is a limited licensee, not a law firm. Within our licensed scope we give legal advice, negotiate, draft, and complete your documents. We do not do litigation or courtroom representation.

Not ready to book online? Call or text Hailee at (306) 341-3000, or use the free fit-check at the top of the page and we will reply by email or text. If your matter is outside our scope, we will point you in the right direction.

A few things we tell every client up front. We act for one party only; the other party should obtain independent legal advice from another qualified family law professional before signing. Solicitor-client privilege may not apply to communications with a limited licensee (not a law firm). No retainer, and no money is ever held on account; you are billed per stage at a fixed fee confirmed in writing.
