Peace acts for one party only. We do not represent both people, and we are not the neutral mediator. Both parties are always encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before signing. We are happy to provide it for one party; the other party should obtain independent legal advice from another family law professional. Peace Family Agreements is a limited licensee (not a law firm) serving out-of-court, uncontested matters only; solicitor-client privilege may not apply, and we explain this and our scope before you engage us.
