Professional fees cover the work agreed in writing. Additional work is agreed separately. GST, PST, court fees and other third-party costs are separate.

Local & Fully Virtual

Regina and Southern Saskatchewan, Handled Online

We serve Regina and the surrounding southern Saskatchewan communities virtually. There is no office to drive to and no travel charge, so a file from Regina and a file from two hours out of it run exactly the same way, at the same price.

What the Agreement Work Covers

What follows is the agreement work. The divorce itself is a separate, smaller service. Which parts you need depends on how much is already settled.

The Agreement

  • Parenting time & decision-making
  • Child support calculations
  • Spousal support (if applicable)
  • Property & asset division
  • Debt responsibility & division
  • Future modification procedures
  • A review of the terms with you before anything is signed

The Service

  • Free 15-minute fit call to confirm the right service
  • Licensed legal advice for you, within our scope
  • Professional document drafting
  • Revision rounds, as set out in your package
  • Execution and witness coordination
  • Preparation and filing of the divorce documents
  • Support after filing

Court filing fees and disbursements are payable to the court and are separate from our fee. Negotiating terms that are still open is a different service, Negotiated Separation, starting at $5,997.

What Working With Us Is Actually Like

We are licensed for uncontested family matters, which means we can advise you and complete your documents, but never argue your case in a courtroom. Knowing that boundary up front is usually what makes the rest of it calm.

One Fixed Fee

The professional fee covers the work agreed in writing. Additional work is discussed and agreed separately. Taxes and third-party costs are separate.

Fully Online

Video, phone or email, whichever suits you. Nothing about this process needs you to sit in a waiting room.

Advice, Not a Template

Someone licensed reads your situation and tells you what the documents mean for you. A downloadable form cannot do that.

Negotiation, When You Need It

If terms are still open, Negotiated Separation puts us on your side of the table. It is a separate service, starting at $5,997, not part of the divorce fee.

Filing Handled

Preparing and filing the divorce documents is the divorce service, starting at $2,497. Drafting your agreement, if you still need one, is priced separately. Court fees are payable to the court.

You Know Where It Sits

You get an update at each stage, so the file never goes quiet on you for weeks at a time.

Ready When You Are

The free 15-minute call covers fit, scope and your next step. Hailee reviews your circumstances and confirms a fixed professional fee in writing before agreed work begins.

Regina Divorce FAQs

How are child support amounts calculated?

Child support is based on the federal child support guidelines and both parents' incomes. We walk you through the numbers so they're clear. More involved situations, like shared parenting or self-employment income, take a little more work, which is reflected in the fee tier.

Does the uncontested divorce service include resolving spousal support?

No, and this is worth being clear about. If spousal support is already resolved in a signed agreement or an existing order, the divorce can proceed on that basis. If support still has to be worked out, negotiated or written down, that is agreement work and it comes first. Depending on how far apart you are, that is Agreement Finalization, a Complete Separation Agreement, or Negotiated Separation. The same applies to parenting and to property.

What counts as an uncontested divorce?

It means you and your spouse agree on the key issues, parenting, support, and how property and debts are divided. There's no active dispute for a court to decide. Peace handles uncontested and joint divorces. We can also advise and negotiate unresolved agreement terms out of court within our licensed scope.

Can I get independent legal advice through Peace?

Both parties are always encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before signing any agreement. We are happy to provide independent legal advice for one party. The other party should obtain independent legal advice from another family law professional. This keeps the process fair for everyone. For an interspousal property agreement under section 38 of The Family Property Act, each spouse must make the required acknowledgment before a lawyer who does not represent the other spouse and has not taken the other spouse's acknowledgment. Peace can advise and draft within its licensed scope; we coordinate the required separate lawyers for those acknowledgments.

Can the whole process really be done virtually?

Yes. Calls, document review and signing coordination all happen by video, phone or email. Families across Regina and Southern Saskatchewan complete the entire process from home.

Do I have to travel to a courthouse in Regina?

Peace works with you virtually. Hailee explains any court, document or signing steps that apply to your circumstances; court requirements remain outside our control.

Already have a signed separation agreement?

Path A · The family issues are already settled

If everything is resolved, the divorce is all that is left

Parenting, support and property already dealt with in a signed agreement or an existing court order? Then the divorce itself is the only thing outstanding, and it is the smallest service we offer.

Start here if you are settled

Path A

Uncontested or Joint Divorce

Filing and finalization, once you are eligible.

Starting at $2,497

Court filing fees and disbursements are payable to the court and are separate from our fee.

  • Eligibility review
  • Preparation of your divorce documents
  • Filing and follow-through to the divorce judgment
  • An update at each stage, so you know where it sits

What this fee does not cover

Working out or negotiating parenting, child support, spousal support, property or debt. If any of that is still open, it is agreement work and it comes first. That is Path B below.

Which one am I?

How to tell in about a minute

Three questions that usually settle it.

  • Is there a signed separation agreement, or a court order, covering parenting, support and property? If yes, Path A is probably all you need.
  • Is any of that still open, or agreed only in conversation? Then Path B comes first and the divorce follows.
  • Have you been separated about a year? That is the usual basis for an uncontested divorce in Saskatchewan.

Still not sure

That is exactly what the free 15-minute fit call is for. No charge, no obligation, and we will tell you plainly if you do not need us yet.
